A Pennsylvania dog owner who said he would change his pet if it came to that has now backed down after his owner told him no, he is not going anywhere.
The man said the owner told the Washington Post that he wouldn’t be changing his pet for another year because of the furor over the city’s new policy.
But the owner’s wife told the Post, that is not true.
“I told him, ‘We are not changing our pet for this year,'” the owner, who requested anonymity because he is fearful of retribution from the owner of the dog, told the paper.
“We are just doing what we feel is best for our dog.
We are just going to continue to love and care for him.”
