The bulk cat is an unusual animal, but the American kitty is more commonly seen in countries where the bulk of the population is feral cats and feral cats eat humans, making the kitty one of the most common domestic animals.
For some people, the kitties can be just too strange to stomach.
It can be difficult to eat, but not to worry, a recent study by the National Geographic Society shows.
The researchers found that a majority of the meat in the study was cooked, not wild.
The study also found that the kittens and their mothers ate the meat, and that their stomachs were stuffed with fat, not fat in the form of bones.
“We were interested in seeing if the kittle was actually a cat,” says Kathryn Wahl, the study’s co-author.
She and her colleagues tested the kittehs meat and the cat’s stomach contents using a technique called high-resolution mass spectrometry.
The scientists also used X-ray diffraction to determine the amount of bone in the kitten’s stomach.
The results show that, on average, the cat was eating more meat than it was digesting, Wahl says.
The kittys stomach was stuffed with muscle, not bone, but that isn’t surprising.
In addition to eating a larger portion of meat, the cats stomach contained more fat than the cats body, which Wahl and her team call “feral fatty tissue.”
It also contains the “metabolically immature” collagen, which is thought to be a key part of the kite’s feathers and coat.
The “federal regulations and public health guidelines for feline nutrition have not been updated for over 30 years,” the researchers wrote.
“The only reason we’re not currently seeing more cats eating these carcasses is because of the lack of oversight.”
The authors concluded that the dietary habits of the cats and kittens may be an indication of their diets, Woll says.
“I think we’re going to need to go back to the drawing board,” she says.
Wahl also notes that kittos have a “long history of eating a lot of meat.”
She thinks we should be concerned about how well they are adapting to their new surroundings, since cats don’t typically eat much meat.
“There is a possibility that this has to do with the diet,” she cautions.
